Baring Baby Blues

Somewhere in London

Lives a girl called Jane.

Somewhere in Dublin

I feel so much pain.

Jane was my sweetness,

So big & so brave.

Sweetness & her light,

My soul does it crave.

A second borne child,

This one alive,

To find her & keep her

As harder I strive…

To do what is right,

I must myself constrain,

Who was taken from me,

Sucked out in pain.

I am standing taller now,

Oh how I’ve grown!

Another sweetness have I…

NOT!

How the years have flown.

For Izzy is lost to me,

Or is she not?

When I think on her carers,

My temples get hot!

They are so greedy

And so Goddamned mean,

I have not seen Izzy

Since before she turned teen!

Oh I’ve got her back

And she’s got mine too…

As for her minders,

Gonna mince them in stew!!
