Sitting in the sun, soaking up its rays
I am feeling low but I know it’s just a phase.
Heavy is my heart, I exhale sadness
Inhale deeply, conjure up some gladness.
Count my blessings, for they are many
Negative thoughts are two a penny.
A battle wages within my soul
