Down comes the rain, gone is the sun
The end of a week that was riddled with fun!
Sunkissed & filled with a feeling of gratitude
Boredom sets in, not the best attitude…

For it’s been through the mill this week past
My fun in the sun has ended so fast.
An afternoon boating on Blessington Lake
A dip in the water, the icing on the cake!
Days on the beach & nights on the beer
A gig in a castle that filled me with cheer!
The music was mighty, the atmosphere lifted
Depeche Mode were playing, a band truly gifted!
The party has ended, I’m chilling at home
Rolling a joint, give a dog a bone!
