Headed for the forest, we are going on a hike
A day in nature, just the kind I like
The weather’s looking moody, it suits the way I feel
Drizzle breaks to sunshine, how nature can heal.
Pitstop en route, we stop off for coffees
I just cannot wait to be free among the trees
Back on the minibus, spirits are high
I sit in the back & watch the world go by.
We’re travelling south into the hills
Soon to be hugging trees for thrills
Escaping the city, its lack of greenery
To the Garden of Ireland & all its fine scenery.
