Was delivered my monthly injection this morning
In my left hip I was jabbed without warning
Rolled back into bed, slept the afternoon away
Suitable behaviour after a long night of play.
Partied until after dawn, visiting friends
Smoking, drugging, drinking, coming apart at the ends
Back to the beginning, I’ve a pain in the ass
Lying low, I’ll let the weekend pass.
