Blank Canvas

I leave art class early since I don’t know where to start

So I finish without starting…am I finished now with art?

Having browsed a few books, I threw in the towel today

‘Fuck my life’, I was thinking, though this I did not say.

But I’m struck by inspiration as I’m sitting in the sun

That blank canvas has potential, it won’t make me come undone!
