Sleepy Head

Yesterday I spent the whole day in bed

Thoughts & dreams tangled in my head

A fitful night followed suit

Too much sleeping can bear strange fruit.

Such vivid dreams played on my mind

Alternate worlds of a colourful kind

I arose at dawn not so fresh as a daisy

Smoking in the sunrise, feeling hazy.
