My right leg is throbbing after a wee walk
I don’t like to complain but it sure is good to talk
Damn meds have me crippled with stiffness & pain
There I go, complaining, I must refrain.
A mindfulness session fills me with calm
Eases me physically, like rubbing on balm
Then I rub balm on my itching fingers
Where a bout of eczema unfortunately lingers.
Mentally fit but physically fat
I’ll very soon put paid to that
The ills of psychiatry can’t keep me down
Soon to be released, no need to wear a frown.
