Today began with Write Club, mentoring teens who are eager to write
Such talent & promise was evident, the future for them is shining & bright.
Arrived home in the afternoon, time for some spring cleaning
The rugby’s on, it’s not for me, I gaze at the screen, daydreaming.
Laundry done in an hour, my mate’s up for a drink
Noley stops by, we hit the pub for a nod & a wink.
I’m on the Ambush, Guinness for him
Two pints later, we’re wearing thin.
Noley gets a call, it’s time for us to depart
I am just about finished, for Noley it’s just the start.
