Low Ebb

Can’t shake the feeling, my mood is so flat

No amount of sunshine can remedy that

Reflecting on the weekend past

How long will this low ebb last?

A wave of despair washes over me

I’m drowning in an emotional sea

Sink or swim, that is my choice
