Feet up, tunes on, savouring lunchtime
Time to write a Monday rhyme
Cheerful weather, can’t complain
The sun is out & no sign of rain.
Class again in the afternoon
Holidays are coming soon
Not feeling festive, at least not yet
But there’s no stopping Christmas, that you bet.
And so passes an hour or two
Enjoying having nothing to do
Two o’clock looms, time to run
I love Mondays when Mondays are fun.
