My mate’s on his way & he’s bringing some beer
Sure I’ll just have the one & keep my mind clear
His New Year’s Resolution is to stay off the drink
I guess that resolution has gone down the sink.
Not wanting to enable him, I put up some resistance
But finally caved under his insistence
After all, he’s already been on the sauce
