So much for an early start, I didn’t wake ’til 10
Off I trundled, late for art & doodled with my pen
Coffee after coffee & I soon got in the flow
Lunchtime came too quickly, time to get up & go.
An afternoon of acupuncture lies ahead of me
Lying down being needled, damn I’ve drank too much coffee
So I pop a chiilaxer & let it kick in
I’m battling sciatica & I will win.
