Psychiatric medication is destroying my teeth
So my dentist told me & she doesn’t miss a beat
My mouth is always dry & that’s causing decay
I can’t drink enough water to keep that at bay.
An x-ray identified the source of my pain
Which, the past few days, has been driving me insane
A rogue back tooth, slowly rotting at the root
So now I’m booked in for an extraction to boot.
My face is slightly swollen & tender to the touch
I’m taking antibiotics, painkillers & such
Dreading the extraction, which is scheduled for next week
Just like the weather, my forecast is bleak.
