My day began with a visit to my shrink
He said I’m tenacious, what do you think?
Well, that’s a first but I guess that it’s true
And at the moment I’m stubbornly blue.
Still I persist as I go through the motions
Plugging away & suppressing my notions
Playing the game & chasing the ball
Trying to remember that I can’t win ‘em all.
